This is an established and reputable secondary school with a catchment area in the west of Nottinghamshire.  The school is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, who complimented positive and respectful attitudes of the pupils, as well as the relationships and bonds between pupils and teachers.  It is easy to access by car or by public transport.

Vacancy Details:

·         To teach biology from KS3 to KS5

·         To ensure that pupils are taught in line with current curriculum requirements

·         To provide pastoral support to pupils when required

·         To follow the schools behaviour policy and the schools safeguarding policy

Candidate Requirements:

To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:

·         Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and allowing permission for a TRA check to be conducted on your behalf

·         Experience of working as a teacher of Biology in a British curriculum school for a minimum of two terms since obtaining QTS.

·         Full enhanced DBS certificate

·         Completion of the Merit Education Onboarding Process

·         The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teacher.

·         A minimum of 2 school based references
