Job Title: ICT Teacher
Location: Burton on Trent
Duration: Temp to Perm
Shift Pattern: Full time (Part time will be considered if required by the applicant)
Salary: Teacher Pay Scale Compliant
School Details:
The school is a secondary school servicing the Burton on Trent region. It is currently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted and has held this grading for a few years. The report details the high achievement levels expected of its pupils, and that the pupils are polite, well behaved and that they feel happy and safe in their learning environment. The school has an excellent reputation locally and my own personal experiences of working with the school have been very pleasant. Staff who I have placed at the school in the past have been very complimentary in regards to the support and the general atmosphere of the school.
Vacancy Details:
· The postholder will be required to teach ICT to KS3 KS4 and KS5
· The school holds Apple Distinguished School Status, it is therefore desirable that applicants are comfortable and competent with iOS systems and Apple devices, particularly iPads
· The role is full time, however there may be the opportunity for the role to be made part time, depending on applicants numbers and practical considerations
· The school is a split site school therefore travel between the sites will be required
Candidate Requirements:
To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:
· Holding Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) proven by providing your Teacher Reference Number
· Experience of working as an ICT teacher in accordance with the British National Curriculum
· Hold a teaching qualification that specialises in ICT or Computer Sciences
· Full enhanced DBS certificate
· Completion of the Merit Education Onboarding Process
· The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teacher.
· A minimum of 2 school based references
