This school is a vibrant and exciting primary school serving a catchment in the Arnold area.  It is currently graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted, with a recent ungraded check highlighting a strong school ethos regarding inclusivity and diversity, the creativity of learning opportunities for the pupils and the empowerment of pupils who are offered a variety of leadership roles within the school, among many other very positive comments.

 

Vacancy Details:

 

·         Working as a full time L1 Teaching Assistant

·         To work predominantly within the KS1 area of the school

·         To provide support to SEND pupils as well as general classroom support

·         To uphold and to encourage the schools ethos in relation to inclusivity and diversity

·         Working closely with class teachers to ensure that pupils receive bespoke, tailored education relating to their SEND requirements

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:

 

·         A teaching assistant qualification

·         Experience of providing TA support in a school based setting for at least 1 term, preferably in a KS1 setting

·         To have strong behaviour management strategies and the aptitude to be guided by the school based on their current procedures

·         Full enhanced DBS certificate

·         Completion of the Merit Education Onboarding Process

·         The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant

·         A minimum of 2 school based references
