Salary:                                                 £22610 - £24099

This is a renowned SEND school offering tailored learning provisions to pupils ranging from 4 to 18 years old.  It is a wonderful environment for learners and for the staff who pride themselves in offering an engaging and comfortable atmosphere.  The school currently holds a ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, held for well over a decade.

 

Vacancy Details:

 

·         L2 Teaching Assistant position

·         Working with a high proportion of autistic pupils, as well as those with other SEN such as ADHD, and other sensory and physical needs.

·         Full time, term time only

·         Working in close collaboration with class teachers and the school SENDCO

·         Playing an active part in maintaining the schools excellent learning environment

 

Candidate Requirements:

 

To be considered for this role candidates must have / be able to demonstrate:

 

·         A teaching assistant qualification of at least L2, L3 preferred

·         Experience of providing TA support in a school based setting for at least 1 term

·         Demonstrable experience of working with Autistic learners

·         Full enhanced DBS certificate

·         Completion of the Merit Education Onboarding Process

·         The ability to show a genuine desire and passion for working as a teaching assistant

·         A minimum of 2 school based references
